Recap |  Final Stats |  Quotes

  •  Fresno State picked up only its second victory in the series with UCLA. The Bruins lead the overall series, 6-2.

  •  Terrence Austin's second quarter kickoff return for 73 yards was a career long. He totaled 298 all-purpose yards today (206 on kickoff returns, 44 on punt returns, 19 receiving and 29 rushing).

  •  Austin set a new school record for single-game kickoff return yards with 206. The previous record was held by Theotis Brown with 188 vs. Stanford in 1978. Austin's 100-yard opening kickoff return was called back due to a penalty.

  •  UCLA recorded season-highs in total offense (384 yards) and rushing yards (234 yards).

  •  Brett Lockett returned a blocked PAT 96 yards for two points in the third quarter. It was UCLA's first blocked PAT for a score since Matt Clark vs. USC in 2003.

  •  Running back Kahlil Bell scored on a one-yard touchdown run in the first quarter for his first touchdown since Oct. 27, 2007 against Washington State. Bell, who finished with 20 rushes for 73 yards today, missed the final five games of 2007 with injury and was injured in the season opener this season and missed the next two games.

  •  Bell added a seven-yard touchdown run in the second quarter to tie his career high of two touchdowns in a game (also done vs. Oregon State in 2007, at Oregon in 2006 and vs. Northwestern in 2005).

  •  Running back Derrick Coleman rushed for 86 yards to set a new career high and a team season-high. Coleman's 44-yard run in the fourth quarter was the longest by a Bruin this year.

  •  Chane Moline caught a 20-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter for his first career receiving touchdown. He finished the game with career-highs in receiving yards (31) and receptions (three).

  •  Quarterback Kevin Craft rushed for a season-high 46 yards, one more than his entire season total of yards gained entering the game (45). Craft set a season-high with a 32-yard pass play to Ryan Moya in the second quarter.

  •  Jeff Baca and Nate Chandler each made their first career starts today. Baca becomes the first UCLA true freshman to start on the offensive line since Shannon Tevaga started the last seven games in 2004.

  •  Sophomore defensive tackle Brian Price recorded his first career interception in the first quarter.
  •  Marlon Moore's 63-yard punt return for a touchdown in the first quarter was the first against UCLA since California's DeSean Jackson returned a punt for a 72-yard touchdown on Nov. 4, 2006.

  •  Kicker Kai Forbath kicked a season-long 46-yard field goal to end the first half. He is now 3-3 on field goals between 40-49 yards long this season.

  •  Today's attendance was 73,963, a new season-high and the seventh crowd of over 70,000 in the last 10 home games. UCLA has drawn over 60,000 for 11 consecutive games.
