Three Bruins Named to All-Time All-Conf. team

Three Bruins were included in ESPN.com blogger Ted Miller's All-Time All-Pac-10 football team --- Jerry Robinson, Kenny Easley, Jonathan Ogden. The Pac-12 will offically become UCLA's new conference on July 1. Below is a capsule bio on each of the honored Bruin players.

Jerry Robinson: Robinson played linebacker in 1976-77-78. He was the first Bruin to earn consensus All-American honors in three straight seasons and the nation's first three-timer since Doak Walker of SMU in 1947-48-49. Jerry still holds the UCLA career record for tackles (468). He finished 10th in the 1978 Heisman Trophy balloting. Robinson was a first-round draft choice by the Philadelphia Eagles in 1979 and went on to enjoy a 13-year NFL career with the Eagles and Raiders.He was inducted into the UCLA Hall of Fame in 1991 and the National Football Foundation Hall of Fame in December 1996.

Kenny Easley: Kenny played safety for four seasons - 1977-78-79-80. He was the first player in Pac-10 history to be named an all-league selection in four straight years. Easley became UCLA's second three-time consensus All-American. He is still number one on the UCLA interception list (19) and ranks fourth in career tackles (374). Easley finished ninth in the voting for the 1980 Heisman Trophy. He was a first-round selection by the Seattle Seahawks in the 1981 NFL draft. He has been inducted into the UCLA and National Football Foundation Hall of Fames.

OL Jonathan Ogden: Jonathan played offensive tackle in 1992-93-94-95. He earned consensus All-America honors in 1995 and was twice selected all-conference. In 1995, he was the winner of the Outland Trophy Award. Ogden did not allow a sack as a senior and had just one in his last two seasons at UCLA. JO was selected in the first-round of the 1996 NFL draft by the Baltimore Ravens. He went on to be selected for 11 NFL Pro Bowls and played in the 2001 Super Bowl. His #79 UCLA jersey was retired in Feb. of 1997. Ogden was inducted into the UCLA Hall of Fame in 2006.
