Men's Track & Field Breaks Into Nation's Top 25

The UCLA men's track and field team moved into the USTFCCCA top 25 national rankings on Tuesday after a solid competition at the NCAA West Prelim Round in Austin, TX this past weekend.

After hovering just outside the top 25 all season long, the Bruins broke through on Tuesday and are now ranked 24th heading into the NCAA Championships, held June 6-9 in Des Moines, IA.

UCLA qualified six individuals and the 4x100m relay to the NCAA meet after competing in the prelim round and will be looking to score in several events at Nationals.

Competing at NCAAs are Maxwell Dyce (200), 4x100m relay, Mike Woepse (pole vault), Matthew Kosecki (discus), Alec Faldermeyer (hammer), Derek Eager (javelin) and Marcus Nilsson (decathlon).
