LOS ANGELES - October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and UCLA Athletics will help raise awareness at five upcoming Bruin Olympic Sports events.
At the Oct. 4 UCLA-Washington State football game at the Rose Bowl, fans will be able to buy UCLA Breast Cancer Awareness t-shirts. The t-shirts are $10 and will be available at the BearWear Stands located in Lot H and across from tunnel 7.
T-shirts will also be available prior to the five UCLA Olympic Sports events listed below:
Oct. 12 - Women's Soccer vs. Washington at 1 p.m. at Drake Stadium
Oct. 24 - Women's Volleyball vs. California at 7 p.m. at Pauley Pavilion
Oct. 26 - Women's Volleyball vs. Stanford at 12:30 p.m. at Pauley Pavilion
Jan. 25 - Gymnastics vs. California at 2 p.m. at Pauley Pavilion
Date TBA - Women's Basketball vs. Arizona State at Pauley Pavilion
Purchase of a t-shirt prior to any of the five Olympic Sports events will gain you free entrance to that game and all remaining Breast Cancer Awareness games. Proceeds from the sale of each t-shirt will benefit The Revlon/UCLA Breast Center.
In addition, at the Oct. 24 and Oct. 26 women's volleyball matches, UCLA players will adorn pink jerseys and the match will be played with pink volleyballs. Fans will be able to bid on the game-worn jerseys, as well as volleyballs used during the two contests, at UCLABruins.com, with all proceeds going to The Revlon/UCLA Breast Center. Prior to each match, the first 250 fans will receive a Breast Cancer Awareness bracelet. Wilson will also provide giveaways during both matches.
