Northridge Invite Results in PDF Format Get Acrobat Reader

The women's track and field team wrapped up the second outdoor meet of the season on Saturday as they competed at the Northridge Invitational. Shannon Murakami and Allison Koressel highlighted the women with event wins.

Murakami, a senior, won the 3000m in a time of 9:47.14. Koressel, who is a sophomore, tied for first in the pole vault with a clearance of 12-7.50.

Other performances of note include sophomore Liz Goodrich in the pole vault (cleared a lifetime-best of 12-7.50 for 3rd), freshman Allie Lopez in the 1500m (2nd overall, 4:31.08) and Alexis Walker in the high jump (2nd overall, 5-7). In the 800m, freshmen Tamara Purpura (2:13.04), Paisley Pettway (2:13.88) and Tiffany LaMar (2:14.54) finished fourth, fifth and sixth, respectively.

UCLA continues the outdoor season next weekend when they head to San Diego for the Aztec Invitational (3/18-19).
