May 29, 2012

Sophomore Alec Faldermeyer (New Hampton, NY/Minisink Valley HS) of the UCLA men's track and field team was selected as the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for May 21-28.

Faldermeyer qualified for the NCAA Championships after winning the hammer competition at the NCAA West Prelim in Austin, TX last Friday. This is Faldermeyer's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and of his career.
