UCLA quarterback Brett Hundley's four scoring passes on the day give him 18 on the season, establishing a new school freshman record and moving him past Tommy Maddox (17 in 1990).
Hundley's 18 scoring tosses rank tied for seventh on the all-time season list at UCLA for all classes.
With 274 passing yards, Hundley became the third UCLA freshman quarterback to surpass the 2,000-yard passing yard mark during the game today (Maddox - 2,682 in 1990; Kevin Prince - 2,050 in 2009). He entered the game with 1,906 passing yards and now has 2,180.
UCLA tight end Joseph Fauria has now caught a pass in 16 straight games.
Fauria's touchdown reception in the third quarter was the 14th of his career, which ties him for seventh on the UCLA career list for scoring receptions.
Franklin's 100-yard rushing effort (164 rushing yards today) is the 16th of his career, which moves him into third on the all-time school list behind both Gaston Green, 20 (1984-87) and Freeman McNeil, 17 (1977-80).
Franklin's career rushing total now stands at 3,711. He needs just 20 yards to tie Gaston Green's all-time school record of 3,731.

Time To Rename The Endzone The "Gricezone"
In his first year as a junior-college transfer, running back Marion Grice, who had three touchdowns today, has found a knack for the endzone, posting 12 touchdowns in his 80 offensive touches this year. This means he scores a touchdown 15 percent of the time he touches the ball. Only Kenjon Barner and Kadeem Carey had more touchdowns than Grice's nine entering the day.
Winning by way of TKO (Taylor Kelly Offense)
In his first year at quarterback, Taylor Kelly quickly learned how to manage the offense. Through eight games, he has completed 67.7 percent of his passes out of 217 attempts. The school record for pass completion percentage (over 301 attempts) is 61.8 percent.
Not Playing Coy

Arguably the best recruit by ASU coming into the season, freshman running back DJ Foster has scored six touchdowns this season coming in six different games after he caught a 7-yard touchdown pass from Taylor Kelly to put the Sun Devils up by one with 1:33 left. He also leads the Sun Devils in total rushing yards with 371 yards.
Of the 2,278 total receiving yards this season, the duel-threat running back trio of Cameron Marshall, DJ Foster, andMarion Grice has accounted for 809, or 35.5 percent of those. Grice has 12 (six rushing, six receiving), Marshall has six (five rushing, one receiving),and Foster has six (two rushing, four receiving).
Pin 'em Deep

His longest punt of the day sailed 73 yards, forcing UCLA to start at their own 2-yard line. It was the longest punt of his college career.
