Lindsay Rowe highlighted the women's track and field team on the final day of the MPSF Indoor Championships in Seattle, WA as the senior finished second in the 60m hurdles. Rowe ran 8.35 in the final to pick up eight points for the team.
In the high jump, freshman Alexis Walker tied for sixth with a clearance of 5-6.50. Junior Ke'Nyia Richardson was eighth in the triple jump (39-1). Freshman Tamara Purpura was the top finisher in the 800m as she ran a season-best of 2:10.24 for ninth-place. Sophomore Allison Koressel cleared a lifetime-best 13-1.50 in the pole vault to finish ninth overall.
The Bruins will next send a few athletes to last chance qualifying meets with the hopes of getting into NCAAs. Athletes who don't go to the last chance meet will head to Fullerton for the start of the outdoor season at the Ben Brown Invite.
