SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - Senior Cameron Smith registered a season-high four goals as sophomore Kevin Kuga and junior Kyle Healy each added three goals, leading the No. 3 UCLA men's water polo team past UC Santa Cruz, 20-3, Sunday afternoon.
The Bruins held UC Santa Cruz scoreless through the first 14 minutes, taking advantage of a 12-0 run to open the contest. UCLA led 7-0 after one quarter and owned a decisive 12-1 cushion at halftime. The Bruins outscored UC Santa Cruz, 5-1, in the third frame before totaling three more goals in the final quarter.

UCLA returns to action at UC Irvine in an MPSF contest Friday, Oct. 5. Game time is slated for 7 p.m. at the Anteater Aquatics Complex.
