Each week, uclabruins.com will update and highlight select UCLA players' progress during the current MLS season. Games highlighted are from Oct. 22-28. The Bruins lead all universities with 22 alumni in MLS.

Tony Beltran (Real Salt Lake; Years played at UCLA: 2006-07)
Beltran started and played all 90 minutes in Real Salt Lake's 0-0 draw with Vancouver on Sunday. He recorded one shot in the match and helped Salt Lake earn their 14th shutout of the season. Real Salt Lake has clinched a playoff spot and will take on the Seattle Sounders in the Western Conference Semifinals on Friday, Nov. 2 and Thursday, Nov. 8.

Beltran's final 2012 MLS season stats: 32GP/32GS, 2,857 minutes, 2 assists, 12 shots, 4 SOG

Benny Feilhaber (New England Revolution; Years played at UCLA: 2003-04)
Feilhaber started and played all 90 minutes in New England's 1-0 win over Montreal in the regular season finale on Saturday. He did not record a statistic in the match for the Revolution and finished the year with one goal and two assists.

Kevin Hartman (FC Dallas; Years played at UCLA: 1995-96)
Kevin Hartman made three saves on Sunday as FC Dallas tied with Chivas USA 2-2 in the final regular season match for both teams. Hartman faced 21 total shots in the match and finishes the year with 98 saves, good for fifth best in all of MLS.

Jordan Harvey (Vancouver Whitecaps FC; Years played at UCLA: 2002-05)
Harvey started and played all 90 minutes in Vancouver's 0-0 draw with Real Salt Lake on Sunday. He did not record a statistic in the match. Vancouver has clinched a playoff spot though and will play the Galaxy on Thursday, Nov. 1 in the knockout round of the MLS Cup Playoffs.
Vancouver's final record: 11-13-10, 43 points, 5th place in Western Conference
Harvey's final 2012 MLS season stats: 26GP/18GS, 1,737 minutes, 1 goal, 2 assists, 6 shots, 1 SOG

Kamani Hill (Colorado Rapids; Years played at UCLA: 2004-05)
Kamani Hill started and played 65 minutes as Colorado defeated Houston 2-0 in the regular season finale on Saturday. Hill scored his fifth goal of the season in the ninth minute when he blasted one from just outside the box past Houston's keeper to give the Rapids the lead. To view Hill's goal, click here. Hill finishes 2012 with five goals and two assists in 19 games played.

Chandler Hoffman (Philadelphia Union; Years played at UCLA: 2009-11)
Chandler Hoffman came on as a substitute and played six minutes in the Union's 2-1 loss to Sporting Kansas City on Wednesday. Hoffman played in seven matches in his rookie season after battling a toe injury for most of the year.
Philadelphia's final record: 10-18-6, 36 points, 8th place in Eastern Conference

Chance Myers (Sporting Kansas City; Years played at UCLA: 2006-07)
Defender Chance Myers started and played all 90 minutes at right back on Wednesday as Sporting Kansas City closed out the regular season with a 2-1 win over Philadelphia. It was Myers' 28th start of the season. With the win, Sporting Kansas City clinched the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference and will await the winner of the Chicago/Houston knockout match on Oct 31. Kansas City will play the winner of that matchup on Sunday, Nov. 4.

Myers's final 2012 MLS season stats: 30/28GS, 2,538 minutes, 7 assists, 20 shots, 2 SOG

Amobi Okugo (Philadelphia Union; Years played at UCLA: 2009)
Amobi Okugo started and played all 90 minutes at center back in Philadelphia's 2-1 loss to Sporting Kansas City on Wednesday. Then on Saturday, Okugo again started and played all 90 minutes in the Union's season-ending 3-0 loss to New York. Okugo recorded one shot against the Red Bulls and finished the year by starting and playing all 90 minutes in Philadelphia's last 23 matches.
Philadelphia's final record: 10-18-6, 36 points, 8th place in Eastern Conference
Okugo's final 2012 MLS season stats: 27GP/24GS, 2,230 minutes, 1 assist, 16 shots, 2 SOG

Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake; Years played at UCLA: 1997-99)
Nick Rimando returned from international duty this week and made two saves as Real Salt Lake tied with Seattle 0-0. He faced 10 total shots in the match and earned his 12th clean sheet of the year in the draw. Real Salt Lake has clinched a playoff spot and has one match remaining before the playoffs.
Real Salt Lake record: 17-11-5, 56 points, 3rd place in Western Conference

Rimando's 2012 MLS season stats: 31GP/31GS, 2,790 minutes, 83 saves, 33 GA, 1.06 GAA

Andy Rose (Seattle Sounders FC; Years played at UCLA: 2008-11)
Andy Rose started and played all 90 minutes in defense as Seattle played to a 0-0 draw with Real Salt Lake on Wednesday. Rose recorded one shot in the match and helped the Sounders earn their 11th shutout of the season despite playing with 10 men for most of the match. Then on Sunday, Rose came on as a substitute and played seven minutes in Seattle's 3-1 win over FC Dallas. He did not record a statistic in Sunday's match. Seattle has clinched a playoff spot and has one match left before the playoffs begin.
Sounders record: 15-7-11, 56 points, 2nd place in Western Conference

Rose's 2012 MLS season stats: 23GP/11GS, 1,156 minutes, 1 goal, 1 assist, 17 shots, 4 SOG

Kelyn Rowe (New England Revolution; Years played at UCLA: 2010-11)
Rowe came on as a substitute and played 22 minutes in New England's season-ending win over Montreal on Saturday. Rowe played in 30 games for the Revolution and scored three goals during an impressive rookie campaign.

Pete Vagenas (Chivas USA; Years played at UCLA: 1996-99)
Pete Vagenas started and played 80 minutes in Chivas USA's 2-2 draw with FC Dallas on Sunday. He finished the 2012 MLS season with one assist in 13 games played for the Goats.

Marvell Wynne (Colorado Rapids; Years played at UCLA: 2004-05)
Marvell Wynne started and played all 90 minutes at center back in Colorado's 2-0 win over Houston on Saturday. Wynne helped the Rapids earn their ninth shutout of the year in the victory. He finishes 2012 having started 28 games for the Rapids and playing just over 2,500 minutes.

Sal Zizzo (Portland Timbers; Years played at UCLA: 2005-06)
Zizzo started and played all 90 minutes as Portland wrapped up their 2012 season with a 1-1 draw versus San Jose. He recorded two shots in the match and finished 2012 with one goal and four assists in 20 games.
Portland's final record: 8-16-10, 34 points, 8th place in Western Conference

Note: 12 UCLA alums will participate in the 2012 MLS Cup Playoffs with their respective teams. Michael Stephens, Kyle Nakazawa, Brian Perk, Brian Rowe and Chad Barrett will compete for the Galaxy while Jordan Harvey will compete for Vancouver. The Galaxy and the Whitecaps play each other in the knockout round on Thursday, Nov. 1. Nick Rimando and Tony Beltran (Real Salt Lake) will play Andy Rose, Patrick Ianni, David Estrada and the rest of the Seattle Sounders in the Western Conference Seminfinals on Friday, Nov. 2 and Thursday, Nov. 8.
