The 2011 NFL Draft begins this afternoon and a few members of the 2010 UCLA football team figure to be selected during the three-day session.
Outside linebacker Akeem Ayers and safety Rahim Moore will both be in New York for the festivities. Both are hopeful of being selected on Thursday evening. Akeem has made the first round of most mock drafts while Moore has been in some first rounds and some second rounds.
The Draft returns to primetime this year, with the first round taking place on today at 5:00 pm PT. The second and third rounds will take place on Friday, beginning at 3:00 pm PT. Rounds four through seven will be held on Saturday, beginning at 9:00 a.m. PT. Teams will have 10 minutes between picks in the first round, seven minutes between picks in the second round and five minutes between picks in rounds three through seven.
ESPN and NFL Network will both televise the draft.
