The men's and women's track and field teams will split for two meets this weekend as distance runners will compete in Seattle, WA at the Husky Classic (Fri.-Sat.), while other event groups will compete at the Don Kirby Elite Invite in Albuquerque, NM (Fri.).
The women's team will send four athletes to Seattle to compete - Paisley Pettway and Danielle Low in the 800m and Rachel Butler and Sarah Toberty in the mile. The men's team will be represented by Philip MacQuitty (mile), Kent Morikawa (3000m), Dylan Knight (3000m) and Dustin Fay (5000m).

Six pole vaulters are slated to compete for the women's team in Albuquerque, highlighted by Tori Anthony and Allison Koressel, who have both cleared over 13-5 this indoor season. The men's team is highlighted by Alec Faldermeyer (weight throw) and Mike Woepse (pole vault), who are both in good position to qualify for the NCAA Indoor Championships.
The meet features Cal, UCLA, Texas, Florida, Ohio State, Arizona State, Texas Tech and San Diego State.
