WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Junior Rachael Kidder and sophomore Kelly Reeves have both been named to the All-Pac-12 Conference First Team, as announced on Tuesday. Three others, seniors Lainey Gera and Lauren Van Orden and junior Tabi Love, received honorable mention team accolades, while Zoë Nightingale earned All-Freshman honorable mention team plaudits.

The awards for Kidder and Reeves mark the second year in a row the duo has been honored by the conference. Kidder was an All-Pac-10 honorable mention award winner in 2010, while Reeves was named to the All-Freshman squad.

Gera becomes the 14th Bruin to earn at least three all-conference accolades with her third career honorable mention award. It was also the first honors for Love and Van Orden.

The Bruins have had 92 All-Pac-10/12 selections (58 first-teamers) over the last 25 seasons, as well as 38 All-Freshman Team honorees.

The Bruins open up play in the NCAA Tournament on Friday against Maryland Eastern Shore. First serve is at 8 p.m. at the John Wooden Center. For more information on the first and second rounds of the NCAA Tournament, click here.
