Seniors Austin Ramos and Kyle Shackleton and junior Drew Shackleton will compete on Monday at the NCAA Cross Country Championships in Terre Haute, IN. The trio will compete as individuals with the hopes of earning All-American honors.
The three men earned their spots at Nationals after having finished in the top-25 individually at the West Region meet two weeks ago. Ramos was 18th, Kyle was 19th, and Drew was 21st overall.
Ramos earned All-American honors at the 2005 NCAA meet, while Kyle and Drew earned experience last season when the men's team competed at Nationals. Kyle was the No. 1 runner at NCAA's, while Drew was No. 2 last season.
The men's 10k race will begin at 9:05 (PST) and will be broadcast live on CSTV. It is the first year the NCAA Championships will be televised. Fans can also watch a live video stream of the race at NCAASports.com.
