Los Angeles, Calif. - Seniors Matt Wiet, Ryan Hollingshead and Fernando Monge, and junior Reed Williams have all been named to the NSCAA All-Far West Region Team, as announced by the NSCAA. Wiet and Hollingshead earned first-team honors while Monge was named to the second team. Williams was a third-team selection.

Wiet becomes the first UCLA player to earn NSCAA All-Far West Region honors three years in a row since Seth George accomplished the feat from 1996-98. Wiet anchored the UCLA back line in 2012, starting 18 of UCLA's 19 matches and earning second-team All-Pac-12 honors for the second consecutive season. He helped the Bruins earn six shutouts on the season and, along with Hollingshead, captained UCLA to a 13-3-3 record in 2012.

Hollingshead enjoyed a breakout year for the Bruins, earning 2012 Pac-12 Player of the Year honors and being named a second-team NSCAA All-American. The Granite Bay, Calif. native started all 19 of UCLA's matches this season, led the team with 22 points (7 g, 8 a) and finished the season tied with Williams for the team lead in goals. Hollingshead also finished second in the Pac-12 to teammate Evan Raynr with eight assists on the year. Off the field, Hollingshead was honored with the Pac-12 Men's Soccer Scholar Athlete of the Year award and earned third-team Capital One Academic All-America honors. He also was named a first-team Pac-12 All-Academic selection and was a Senior CLASS Award finalist in 2012.

Monge also enjoyed a fine season in 2012, scoring a single-season best five goals, two of which were game-winners. He also notched a career-best 11 points this season and started every single match for the Bruins. Monge earned first-team All-Pac-12 honors for the first time in his career in 2012 and finished second on the team in minutes with 1,700.

Williams, a junior from Newport Beach, Calif., tied with Hollingshead for the team lead in goals with seven and was a first-team All-Pac-12 selection in 2012. He also finished second to Hollingshead with 18 points (7 g, 4 a) and ranked fourth in the Pac-12 in both points and goals. In addition, Williams played in all 19 matches for the Bruins and had multiple goal games against Maryland on Aug. 31 and San Diego State on Oct. 12.
