Tulsa, Okla. - The UCLA men's tennis team has three singles players and one doubles team competing in the main draw at the 2011 Men's ITA All-American Championships at the University of Tulsa's Michael D. Case Tennis Center beginning on Thursday.
UCLA freshman Marcos Giron earned his place in the main draw on Wednesday, as he upset fifth-seeded Nikola Bubnic of San Diego, 3-6, 7-5, 6-0 in the final round of qualifying. Giron will meet another qualifier in the main draw on Thursday, as Iowa's Marc Bruche awaits him in the first round.
UCLA's lone doubles team in the main draw, eighth-seeded Alex Brigham and Puget, will take on Oklahoma qualifiers Tsvetan Mihov and Peerakit Siributwong.
