No. 1 UCLA Women's Water Polo Tops Indiana, 15-6, at Michigan Invitational

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The No. 1 UCLA women's water polo team finished its weekend with a perfect 4-0 mark at the Michigan Invitational after defeating Indiana, 15-6, Sunday afternoon. Seniors Gabrielle Domanic and Jillian Kraus led the Bruins with three goals apiece at Michigan's Canham Natatorium.

Senior Brittany Rowe and junior Katie Rulon each registered two goals. Rulon finished the weekend with 12 goals in four games to lead all Bruin scorers.

Junior Brittany Fullen recorded a career-high 14 saves in the cage.

UCLA (4-0) led Indiana from the start, racing to a 9-0 lead after one quarter. The Hoosiers (1-3) cut the Bruins' advantage to 10-3 by halftime. UCLA outscored Indiana 4-2 in the third quarter before both teams traded goals in the final frame.

The win marked UCLA's second of the day, as the Bruins earned a 15-2 victory over Colorado State earlier in the afternoon.

UCLA returns to action at No. 12 Loyola Marymount (0-0) on Saturday, Feb. 2. Game time is 12 p.m. at LMU's Burns Recreation Center.
