UCLA to Honor Tony Ker on Senior Night

UCLA will honor senior libero Tony Ker on Senior Night, Fri., Apr. 4 when the Bruins host No.2 Cal State Northridge in Pauley Pavilion. First serve is scheduled for 7 p.m.

Ker will end his UCLA tenure as the national career digs leader and already owns the school's single match digs mark of 27. In addition, he is just 38 digs shy of the single season UCLA digs record of 364.

A national Player of the Year candidate, Ker has earned Defensive Player of the Year honors twice and All-America and all-conference acclaim three times. He also was an integral part of the Bruins' 2006 NCAA championship team.

In the classroom, Ker has earned All-MPSF honors twice and has been named to the Director's Honor Roll seven times. He will graduate this summer with a degree in Sociology.

UCLA volleyball T-shirts will be given away to the first 500 fans on Friday night.
