Joh and Uribe Complete Women's World Amateur Championship

UCLA golfers Maria Jose Uribe and Tiffany Joh completed play in the 23rd Women's World Amateur Championship Saturday at the Grange Golf Club in Adelaide Australia.

Joh fired a three-under par 69 to help lead the United States to a third place finish. The Stars and Stripes climbed the leaderboard after a slow start and on Saturday posted a five-under par score of 137 to finish at five-under 575. Joh tied for 19th at four-over par 294.

Uribe finished at even par 290 and tied for sixth place. She posted a final round 72 and led Colombia to a 14th place finish.

Sweden won the WWATC with a 72-hole score of 561 (-19) and Spain captured second place with a score of 573 (-7).
