In an exclusive UCLA All-Access video, women's basketball head coach Nikki Caldwell discusses this week's Pink Zone events to support and promote breast cancer awareness.
On Saturday, Feb. 14, UCLA will host the 1st Annual Carnival for the Cure, which takes place outside Pauley Pavilion from 11 am-1 pm. Admission is free. The event will feature fun carnival games, giveaways and prizes, face-painting booths, autograph stations, trivia games, healthy food samplings and cooking demonstrations.
After the carnival, UCLA will take on Arizona State at 2 pm. The Bruins will be wearing special pink and white uniforms, which will be auctioned off online after the game, with proceeds to be divided between the Kay Yow/WBCA Cancer Fund, the Revlon/UCLA Breast Center and the Iris Cantor-UCLA Women's Health Education & Resource Center.
