Anna Li Earns Olympic Trials Invitation

UCLA alumna Anna Li took home a bronze medal on the uneven bars at the Visa Championships on Sunday and earned an invitation to the U.S. Olympic Trials, which will take place in San Jose, Calif. June 28-July 1.

Li recorded uneven bars scores of 15.15 on day one and 15.55 on day two for a total of 30.700. Her D scores of 6.7 on day one and 6.9 on day two were the highest in the field and among the Top 5 in the world. Li also competed on balance beam and finished 19th with a two-day total of 25.6 (11.95 on day one, 13.65 on day two).

In addition to the Olympic Trials invitation, Li was named to the National Team for the second consecutive year.

Li competed at UCLA from 2007-2010 and led UCLA to the NCAA Championship during her senior season in 2010. She was an eight-time All-American and won a total of three Pac-10 and six NCAA Regional individual titles in her career.
