The defending national champion and 12th-ranked Bruins (32-15, 8-10 Pac-10) travel to #11 Oregon (37-13, 9-9) this weekend in the last conference series of the season. On Sunday, the Bruins and 63 other teams will learn where their postseason journey begins when ESPNU airs the NCAA Selection Show at 7 p.m. PT. NCAA Regionals run from May 20-22 at 16 campus sites around the country.

The Bruins remained at 12th in this week's USA Today/NFCA Top 25 poll, but dropped one spot to 15th in the latest Softball rankings.

Senior GiOnna DiSalvatore is UCLA's all-time leader in doubles with 63, breaking the record held by Tairia Mims (59) on April 9 against Stanford. She is one of three Bruins to start in all 47 games and leads the team with 15 two-baggers ... senior Donna Kerr has pitched in nine of the last 10 games and 15 of 18 Pac-10 contests. She is fifth in UCLA history in appearances (117), seventh in strikeouts (706), ninth in innings (564.2) and saves (3) and 10th in wins (63) ... junior Samantha Camuso went 3-for-6 last weekend against Arizona, posting a double on Saturday and a pair of singles on Sunday. She also started her first three career contests at second base ... junior Andrea Harrison leads the Bruins in all three triple crown categories with a .394 batting average, 13 home runs and 45 runs batted in. She has hits in seven of her last nine, batting .393 during the stretch ... freshman Talee Snow leads the Bruins and all Pac-10 players in sacrifice hits with 10. The UCLA freshman record for homers is 20 by Stacey Nuveman in 1997 ... junior Katie Schroeder has a hit in 20 of her last 26 games, batting .368 with two homers, 11 RBI and 21 runs during that stretch. Junior Andrea Harrison is in the national Top 50 in two statistical categories, ranking 38th in slugging percentage (.759) and 39th in on base percentage (.512). Senior GiOnna DiSalvatore is 26th in doubles per game at 0.32. As a team, the Bruins are in the Top 30 in five categories, ranking 13th in home runs per game (1.30), 15th in slugging (.522), 21st in doubles per game (1.49), 27th in runs per game (5.70) and 29th in batting average (.311).

The Bruins are in the top half of the Pac-10 in nine offensive categories, ranking first in sacrifice hits (34) and second in on base percentage (.425) and doubles (70). UCLA is also third in walks (207) and hit by pitches (42), tied for third in sacrifice flies (11) and fourth in slugging (.522), runs batted in (254) and home runs (61). Junior Andrea Harrison is in the Pac-10 Top 10 in nine offensive categories, ranking tied for fourth in home runs (13), fifth in slugging (.759) and sixth in on base percentage (.512) and total bases (104). Freshman Talee Snow is first in the league with 10 sacrifice hits, while freshman Kellie Fox is second with eight sac bunts. Senior GiOnna DiSalvatore is tied for fourth with 15 doubles. Since dropping its first three Pac-10 series', Oregon has won its last three, sweeping Oregon State and taking 2-of-3 from Arizona and Stanford to improve to 37-13 overall and 9-9 in Pac-10 play. The Ducks are hitting .301 as a team with 65 home runs and 59 stolen bases, averaging 5.5 runs per game. Five players are hitting above .300, led by senior Monique Fuiava, who is tops with a .398 average and 43 runs batted in to go with eight home runs. Freshman Courtney Ceo (.386), senior Kaitlin Vitek (.315), sophomore Samantha Pappas (.308) and freshman Alexa Peterson (.301) are also batting over .300, with each of them posting at least five homers. Pappas is leading the squad with 13 stolen bases, while junior Kelsey Chambers is first with 11 homers. In the circle, sophomore Jessica Moore is 20-8 with a 1.58 earned run average and 174 strikeouts in 163 2/3 innings. Two others have started at least six games, with junior Sam Skillingstad holding a 9-3 record with a 2.08 ERA and 109 strikeouts in 80 2/3 innings and senior Brittany Rumfelt posting a 5-0 mark with a 2.42 ERA and 74 strikeouts in 55 innings. Mike White is in his second season at Oregon and holds a record of 73-34.

The Bruins have dominated the series with the Ducks over the last five years, winning 15 in a row to take a 70-12 all-time lead. UCLA has averaged 7.9 runs per game during its 15-game winning streak, posting double figures in all three contests last year at Easton Stadium (April 30-May 2) in an 11-4 win and a pair of 10-2, mercy-rule triumphs. The Bruins are 33-5 in Eugene and have won six in a row. Oregon's last win in the series was a 3-0 triumph in Westwood on May 12, 2005, while its most recent victory at home was a 2-1 win on April 2, 2005.
