Senior diver Tess Schofield (Mission Viejo, CA/Mission Viejo HS) of the UCLA women's swimming and diving team was selected as the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Mar. 9-15.
Schofield qualified for her second NCAA Championships with a win on tower at the NCAA Zone E Championships. She was tied for third after the preliminary round with a total of 223.45 and moved into first-place in the final with a score of 476.90 to take the crown. Schofield was the only individual champion of the meet for the Bruins, and it was her second career win on tower at the Zone meet. She will compete at the NCAA Championships later this week.
This is Schofield's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and second of her career.
