Andrew Baumgartner (Football) and Jacqueline Nguyen (Women's Track & Field) have been selected as UCLA's 2006-07 Pacific-10 Conference Medal winners. A Conference Medal is awarded annually to each member institution's outstanding senior male and female student-athlete based on the exhibition of the greatest combination of performance and achievement in scholarship, athletics and leadership.
Baumgartner, a flanker from San Rafael, CA, finished his three-year career with 15 receptions for 223 yards (14.9 average) and one touchdown. He played in every game in both 2006 and 2005, and in 2005, he led the team with an average of 18.5 yards per reception. Baumgartner was a member of the Director's Honor Roll in Spring 2005 and Winter 2006 and will be graduating with a degree in Math and Economics.
