Each week, uclabruins.com will update and highlight select UCLA players' progress during the current MLS season. Games highlighted are from May 14-20. The Bruins lead all universities with 23 alumni in MLS.

Chad Barrett (Los Angeles Galaxy; Years played at UCLA: 2003-04)
Chad Barrett came on as a substitute and played 12 minutes in the Galaxy's 1-0 loss to Chivas USA on Saturday. Barrett came on for Mike Magee in the 78th minute and did not record an offensive statistic in his 12 minutes of play.
Galaxy record: 3-6-2, 11 points, 9th place in Western Conference

Barrett's 2012 MLS season stats: 10GP/3GS, 320 minutes, 1 assist, 8 shots

David Estrada (Seattle Sounders FC; Years played at UCLA: 2006-09)
Estrada came on as a substitute and played 18 minutes in Seattle's 2-2 draw with the Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday. Estrada came on for Alvaro Fernandez in the 72nd minute and recorded one shot in the match.
Sounders record: 7-2-2, 23 points, 3rd place in Western Conference

Benny Feilhaber (New England Revolution; Years played at UCLA: 2003-04)
Feilhaber started and played 77 minutes at midfielder in the Revolution's 2-2 draw with the Houston Dynamo on Saturday. He was subbed off in the 77th minute for Fernando Cardenas and did not record an offensive statistic in the match.
Revolution record: 4-6-1, 13 points, 5th place in Eastern Conference

Feilhaber's 2012 MLS season stats: 8GP/6GS, 578 minutes, 16 shots, 6 SOG

Kevin Hartman (FC Dallas; Years played at UCLA: 1995-96)
Hartman made two saves in FC Dallas' 1-1 draw with the Philadelphia Union on Saturday. Hartman faced nine total shots from the Union and made a great save in the 78th minute to preserve the tie for Dallas. He pushed his save total to 33 on the year with his two saves in the match and has recorded one shutout this season.

Hartman's 2012 MLS season stats: 9GP/9GS, 810 minutes, 33 saves, 14 GA, 1.56 GAA

Kamani Hill (Colorado Rapids; Years played at UCLA: 2004-05)
Hill came on as a substitute and played 45 minutes in Colorado's 2-0 loss to DC United on Wednesday. He came on at halftime for Brian Mullan and recorded two shots in the loss. Then on Saturday, Hill once again came on as a substitute in Colorado's 2-2 draw with Sporting Kansas City. He came on for Wells Thompson in the 78th minute and played 12 minutes without recording an offensive statistic in the match.
Rapids record: 5-6-1, 16 points, 5th place in Western Conference

Hill's 2012 MLS season stats: 9GP/1GS, 289 minutes, 3 goals, 1 assist, 12 shots, 5 SOG

Chance Myers (Sporting Kansas City; Years played at UCLA: 2006-07)
Myers started and played all 90 minutes at right back in Sporting Kansas City's 2-2 draw with the Colorado Rapids. Myers did not record a statistic in his 90 minutes of play, but has started every match thus far for Sporting Kansas City and played every single minute.
Sporting Kansas City record: 7-3-1, 22 points, 3rd place in Eastern Conference

Myers's 2012 MLS season stats: 11GP/11GS, 990 minutes, 2 assists, 9 shots, 1 SOG

Kyle Nakazawa (Los Angeles Galaxy; Years played at UCLA: 2006-09)
Kyle Nakazawa made his second start of the year for the Galaxy and played 74 minutes in their 1-0 loss to Chivas USA on Saturday. Nakazawa made his presence felt in the match, recording two shots including one off a rebound in the 50th minute that he gathered and fired on net. But Chivas USA keeper Dan Kennedy made a nice diving save on the near post to deny Nakazawa his first goal of the season. Nakazawa was subbed off in the 74th minute for David Beckham.

Nakazawa's 2012 MLS season stats: 3GP/2GS, 161 minutes, 3 shots, 1 SOG

Amobi Okugo (Philadelphia Union; Years played at UCLA: 2009)
Okugo came on as a substitute and played 32 minutes in Philadelphia's 1-1 draw with FC Dallas on Saturday. Okugo came on for Gabriel Gómez in the 58th minute and recorded one shot in the match.
Union record: 2-6-2, 8 points, 9th place in Eastern Conference
This week's Union schedule: May 26 - at Toronto FC
Okugo's 2012 MLS season stats: 4GP/1GS, 160 minutes, 1 shot

Brian Perk (Los Angeles Galaxy; Years played at UCLA: 2006-09)
Perk made his second consecutive start for the Galaxy as they lost to Chivas USA 1-0 on Saturday night. The lone goal that Perk gave up came on a penalty kick from Chivas after a Galaxy defender was handed a red card for a hand ball on the goal line in the 70th minute. Overall, Perk made two saves on the night after facing 13 total shots from Chivas USA.

Perk's 2012 MLS season stats: 2GP/2GS, 180 minutes, 3 saves, 2 GA, 1.00 GAA

Matt Reis (New England Revolution; Years played at UCLA: 1994-97)
Matt Reis made one save and allowed two goals in New England's 2-2 draw with the Houston Dynamo on Saturday. Reis faced nine shots on goal, three of which were on target, in the tie. He has now made 38 saves on the season, which is good for a tie for fifth best in all of MLS.
Revolution record: 4-6-1, 13 points, 5th place in Eastern Conference

Reis's 2012 MLS season stats: 11GP/11GS, 990 minutes, 38 saves, 15 GA, 1.36 GAA

Andy Rose (Seattle Sounders FC; Years played at UCLA: 2008-11)
Andy Rose saw action in his first fourth straight game for the Sounders, coming on as a substitute and playing 45 minutes in their 2-2 draw with Vancouver on Saturday. Rose came on at halftime for Alex Caskey and did not record a statistic in the match.
Sounders record: 7-2-2, 23 points, 3rd place in Western Conference
This week's Sounders schedule: May 23 - vs. Columbus Crew; May 26 - at Chivas USA
Rose's 2012 MLS season stats: 4GP/3GS, 286 minutes, 1 assist, 4 shots

Sal Zizzo (Portland Timbers; Years played at UCLA: 2005-06)
Sal Zizzo saw his first action of the 2012 season as he came on as a substitute in both of Portland's games this week. On Tuesday against Houston, Zizzo came on in the 60th minute for Rodney Wallace and played 30 minutes the Timbers' 0-0 draw with the Dynamo. Then on Sunday, Zizzo came on at halftime for Franck Songo'o and played 45 minutes in Portland's 2-1 victory over the Chicago Fire. Zizzo did not record an offensive statistic in either match.
Timbers record: 3-5-3, 12 points, 8th place in Western Conference
