Swimming & Diving Faces Off With Rival USC On Saturday

The No. 21 UCLA swimming and diving team will face off with crosstown rival USC, ranked fifth in the nation, this weekend in the final dual meet of the season. The meet will be held in the McDonald's Swim Stadium on the USC campus. The Bruin divers will compete on three-meter on Friday at noon, while the rest of the meet will be held Saturday at 1:00 pm. There will also be a platform exhibition on Saturday.

The Bruins head to USC with a dual meet record of 9-3 (3-3 Pac-10). USC has a record of 8-2 (3-2 Pac-10). The Women of Troy hold a 20-16 edge against the Bruins. UCLA last won in 2007 when the Bruins clinched victory during the meet's final relay at McDonald's Swim Stadium.

This weekend's meet marks the final career dual meet for nine seniors - Lindsey Buchbinder, Brittany Beauchan, Sam Vanden Berge, Laura Winn, Carly Lyons, Karina Silva Alex Sullivan, Lauren Hall and Dani Milligan. The meet also marks the final competition before the post-season begins.
