Lindsay Rowe and Joy Eaton highlighted the women's track team on Saturday at the UW Invitational in Seattle as both had solid performances in the opening indoor meet of the year.

Rowe was the top collegiate finisher in the 60m hurdles as she was just .01 shy of her lifetime-best. Today's time of 8.26 should rank in the top 15 in the NCAA this season and was second overall during the competition. She also finished 10th in the 60m with a big lifetime-best run of 7.65 (old best, 7.84). Eaton won the 400m with a time of 54.58 and also finished 10th in the 200m with a lifetime-best of 25.39.

The 4x400m relay team of Rowe, Tiffany LaMar, Paisley Pettway and Yasmin Woodruff finished second overall in a time of 3:39.37. That mark should rank in the top 15 in the NCAA this season.

In the 800m, Ashlea McLaughlin ran a lifetime-best of 2:10.09 to finish ninth overall. Pettway was the top finisher for UCLA in the mile as she was 20th (4:58.27). Woodruff was eighth in the 200m (25.13) and Melissa Skiba was ninth in the 3000m (9:38.36).

The Bruins will continue the indoor season next weekend in Albuquerque, NM as they compete at the New Mexico Classic.
