The No. 23 UCLA swimming and diving team will wrap up the home season this weekend as they host the Bruin Diving Invitational and a double dual with Boise State and Washington State. The diving meet runs Friday through Sunday, while the meet against BSU and WSU will be on Friday at 1:00 pm. Home meets are held at the Spieker Aquatics Center.
The meets also mark the final competition at home for nine seniors - Brittany Beauchan, Lindsey Buchbinder, Lauren Hall, Carly Lyons, Dani Milligan, Karina Silva, Alex Sullivan, Sam Vanden Berge and Laura Winn. The Bruins will recognize the seniors after the conclusion of the dual meet.
Boise State comes to UCLA with a 7-0 record. They have never competed in a dual against the Bruins. Washington State also comes to the meet with an undefeated record, 6-0, and have not competed against UCLA in a dual since the 2003-2004 season. The Bruins lead the series all-time 4-0.
The diving invite will feature the Bruins, USC, San Diego, UC Santa Barbara, Stanford, Cal, Colorado State, Boise State, Tulane, San Diego State, Fresno State and Cal Poly. Women's 3M is Friday with 1M on Saturday. Both springboard events will begin at 11:00 am each day. Tower is on Sunday beginning at 9:30 am. There will be a prelim, semifinal and final round of diving on springboard, while the tower will feature a prelim and final.
