Each week, uclabruins.com will update and highlight select UCLA players' progress during the current MLS season. Games highlighted are from the Knockout Rounds and first legs of the Semifinal rounds through Nov. 4. The Bruins lead all universities with 22 alumni in MLS.

Tony Beltran (Real Salt Lake; Years played at UCLA: 2006-07)
Beltran started and played all 90 minutes in Real Salt Lake's 0-0 draw with Seattle in the first leg of the Western Conference Semifinals on Friday. Along with the rest of the Salt Lake defense, Beltran held the Sounders to 11 attempts on goal as Salt Lake earned their 15th shutout of the season The Sounders and Real Salt Lake will play the second leg of the semifinals on Thursday, Nov. 8 at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah.

Estrada did not record a statistic in the match. The Sounders and Real Salt Lake will play the second leg of the semifinals on Thursday, Nov. 8 at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah.

Defender Chance Myers started and played all 90 minutes at right back on Sunday as Sporting Kansas City fell to Houston, 2-0, in the first leg of the Eastern Conference Semifinals. Myers did not record a statistic in the match. Kansas City will play the Dynamo in the second leg of the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Wednesday, Nov. 7 at Livestrong Sporting Park in Kansas City, Kans.

Nick Rimando came up huge for Real Salt Lake on Friday, recording five saves to earn a 0-0 tie with Seattle in the first leg of the Western Conference Semifinals. Rimando especially came up big in the 33rd minute of the match, making two unbelievable saves off back-to-back corner kicks to deny Seattle and keep the match scoreless. It was also Rimando's 13th shutout of the season. The Sounders and Real Salt Lake will play the second leg of the semifinals on Thursday, Nov. 8 at Rio Tinto Stadium in Sandy, Utah.

Michael Stephens came on as a substitute and played seven minutes in the Galaxy's 2-1 win over Vancouver in the Western Conference Knockout Round on Nov. 1. Stephens came on in the 83rd minute for Juninho and did not record a statistic in his seven minutes of play. The Galaxy dropped the first leg of their semifinal vs. San Jose by a score of 1-0 and will play the second leg of the semifinals on Wednesday, Nov. 7 up at Buck Shaw Stadium in San Jose, Calif.
