WOODLAND, Calif. - UCLA senior center Grace Reynolds has earned MPSF Player of the Week honors after having led the Bruins with a season-high four goals in a 7-5 MPSF victory over USC last Saturday.
Reynolds broke a 5-5 tie with the game's final two goals in the fourth quarter, helping UCLA even its MPSF record to 3-3. The Bruins, 20-5 overall, registered their first victory in three meetings against USC last Saturday afternoon at Spieker Aquatics Center.
Reynolds has earned MPSF Player of the Week honors for the first time in her two seasons at UCLA. This marks the fourth time this season in which a Bruin has earned MPSF Player of the Week honors (Priscilla Orozco has earned the award three times this spring).
The senior center from Santa Ana, Calif., has scored 24 goals in 20 matches this spring, ranking third on the team in goals scored.
The No. 4-ranked Bruins return to action Thursday evening at home against Loyola Marymount. Game time is 7 p.m. Fans can listen to a live audio broadcast of the non-conference match against LMU by visiting uclabruins.com.
