LOS ANGELES - The UCLA baseball team will face Cal State Fullerton in the NCAA Super Regionals at Goodwin Field beginning Saturday, June 9, at 4 p.m. live on ESPN in a best-of-three series format.

Sunday's game is slated for 7 p.m. on ESPN2, and Monday's contest will be played at 4 p.m., if necessary, on ESPN2. Dave Cohen and Robin Ventura will call the action at all three Super Regional games in Fullerton, Calif.

UCLA (33-26) won the Long Beach Regional by defeating No. 1 seed Long Beach State, 7-4, Sunday evening at Blair Field. The Bruins defeated No. 3 seed Pepperdine, 7-3, in Friday's regional opener and knocked off No. 4 seed Illinois-Chicago, 3-1, Saturday evening.

Cal State Fullerton (36-23) advanced to the NCAA Super Regionals after winning the San Diego Regional at Tony Gwynn Stadium on the campus of San Diego State.

Earlier this season, the Titans defeated UCLA twice in a three-game series. The Bruins downed Cal State Fullerton, 6-2, in the series opener Friday, Feb. 23, at Goodwin Field. Cal State Fullerton won by scores of 7-4 and 7-2 on Saturday and Sunday, respectively, at Jackie Robinson Stadium.

UCLA will make its first appearance in a Super Regional since 2000. The Bruins have posted a 33-26 record in 2007, including a 14-10 mark and third-place finish in the Pac-10. Cal State Fullerton tallied a 36-23 overall record and finished 10-11 (fifth place) in the Big West Conference. UCLA played a total of 11 games against teams which have advanced to the Super Regionals.

Each of UCLA's Super Regional contests will be aired live at no cost at uclabruins.com. Danny Lee and Tim Wilhelm will call the action live from Cal State Fullerton's Goodwin Field.
