Swim & Dive to Host USC in Final Home Meet of the Season

The UCLA swimming and diving team will host crosstown rival No. 7 USC this weekend in the final home meet of the season at the Spieker Aquatics Center. The three-meter diving competition will be held on Friday at 11:30 am, with the remainder of the meet to begin at noon on Saturday. A platform diving exhibition will also be contested on Saturday.

The meet will not only be the final home contest of the season and final competition before post-season begins, but it will be the final home event for seven seniors - Bianca Casciari, Madison Fitzgerald, Yasi Jahanshahi, Kelsey Louden, Annie Stefanec, Paige Treleven and Isabel Williams.

UCLA heads into the meet with a 4-4 (2-4 Pac-12) record, while USC is 5-2 (4-2 Pac-12). The Bruins last defeated the Trojans in 2007.

Yasi Jahanshahi currently ranks eighth in the 200 fly with a time of 1:55.84, while Noelle Tarazona is 26th (1:57.83). The 400 free relay ranks 16th (3:19.54) and the 800 free relay is 15th (7:15.99).

Three divers have qualified for the NCAA Zone E Championships - Emma Ivory-Ganja, Paulina Guzman and Haley McNamara.
