Turquoise Thompson and Alexis Walker highlighted the women's track and field team on the final day of competition at the inaugural Pac-12 Championships in Eugene, OR as both women posted second-place finishes in their respective events.

Thompson, running out of lane six in the 400m hurdles, was even with Arizona's Angelica Weaver for most of the race, but Weaver took control on the final turn and pulled away to win (55.12). The Bruin junior finished second with a season-best time of 56.26. Thompson had won the previous two conference crowns in the event. Her time moves her into the top five in the NCAA this season.

Thompson then anchored the 4x400m relay team that finished fourth overall with a season-best time of 3:36.13. Breyonna Hunter led off, followed by Ally Courtnall and Katie Reid. Thompson anchored the relay with a 51.83 split.

Sophomore Alexis Walker added another runner-up finish to the Bruin team as she placed second in the high jump with a season-best clearance of 5-10.75. Freshman Zibby Boyer finished in a tie for 16th as she cleared 5-4.50. Sophomore Tatum Souza did not clear opening height, which was 5-4.50.

Junior Allison Koressel posted the best conference finish of her career in the pole vault as she led the Bruins with a sixth-place finish, clearing 13-4.50. Sophomore Tasha Kolbo tied for eighth as she also posted the highest finish of her career, clearing 13-00.75. Junior Liz Goodrich finished 11th (12-6.75), while sophomore Courtney Reginato and redshirt-frosh Michelle Urabe tied for 12th with equal clearances of 12-00.75. Senior Tori Anthony, who was only competing in her second outdoor meet this season, entered the competition with the bar at 13-4.50 and could not clear it.

Freshman Faith Anumba had a huge day in the triple jump as she finished sixth overall with a lifetime-best mark of 41-11.50. Anumba came into the meet with a best of 40-9.75 and improved in a huge way at the conference meet. That mark moves her to No. 10 all-time in UCLA history. She was the highest placing freshman in the triple jump.

In the 800m final, sophomore Paisley Pettway started the race in lane one and led for the first 600m, but fell back during the final 200m and finished eighth with a time of 2:09.86. Freshman Brea Buchanan finished eighth in the 100m hurdles with a time of 13.69.

Junior Katja Goldring finished 12th in the 5000m final, running 16:49.15. Redshirt-frosh Kelsey Smith finished 16th with a time of 17:10.91.
