SERIES VS. WASHINGTON
This is the 130th meeting between UCLA and Washington with the Bruins leading the series 91-38 (.705). UCLA leads the all-time matchups in Seattle 31-30, but the Bruins have lost the last six at Bank of America Arena. UCLA dropped this year's earlier matchup in Los Angeles 74-63 on Dec. 31, 2010. Reeves Nelson had 19 points and 10 rebounds, and Tyler Honeycutt and Malcolm Lee added 12 points each for the Bruins, but Washington used a 27-10 run over both halves to beat UCLA. Matthew Bryan-Amaning scored 21 points and had 10 rebounds for UW, which won at Pauley Pavilion for the first time in four years. Isaiah Thomas added 17 points and nine assists for the Huskies. Washington handed the Bruins a 97-68 defeat last year in Seattle. Quincy Pondexter scored 10 points in the first 5 minutes and finished with 20 points. Isaiah Thomas added 17 points and Washington led by 23 at halftime. Reeves Nelson led UCLA with 14 points and Nikola Dragovic added 13. UCLA Head Coach Ben Howland is 7-9 against Washington. It is the only Pac-10 school he has a losing record against.
BRUINS' INJURY REPORT
Lazeric Jones sprained his left wrist in the second half of the Bruins' home win over USC (Feb. 2). He finished the game and was taken for X-Rays immediately after the contest. The X-Rays were negative. He has been playing with a heavily-wrapped wrist ever since.
