Each week, uclabruins.com will update and highlight select UCLA players' progress during the current MLS season. Games highlighted are from Apr. 9-15. The Bruins lead all universities with 23 alumni in MLS.

Chad Barrett (Los Angeles Galaxy; Years played at UCLA: 2003-04)
Barrett made his second start of the season for the Galaxy and played 67 minutes in their 3-1 victory over Portland. He recorded one shot in his 67 minutes of play before being subbed off for Edson Buddle in the 67th minute.
Galaxy record: 2-3, 6 points, 8th place in Western Conference

Barrett's 2012 MLS season stats: 5GP/2GS, 194 minutes, 4 shots

Tony Beltran (Real Salt Lake; Years played at UCLA: 2006-07)
Beltran once again started at right back and played all 90 minutes for Real Salt Lake in their 1-0 loss to Sporting Kansas City. Despite allowing a goal, Beltran and the rest of the Salt Lake defense allowed just three shots on goal to Kansas City and helped Salt Lake win the majority of possession. Beltran has started all seven of Real Salt Lake's games this season and has been instrumental in helping the team to a first place standing in the Western Conference.
Real Salt Lake record: 5-2, 15 points, 1st place in Western Conference

Beltran's 2012 MLS season stats: 7GP/7GS, 618 minutes, 2 assists, 3 shots, 2 SOG

David Estrada (Seattle Sounders FC; Years played at UCLA: 2006-09)
Estrada started and played all 90 minutes at forward in Seattle's 1-0 win over Colorado on Saturday. Estrada recorded two shots in the game, though none were on net. He currently leads the Sounders with four goals on the year and is fourth in all of MLS in goals.
Sounders record: 3-1-1, 10 points, 3rd place in Western Conference

Estrada's 2012 MLS season stats: 5GP/5GS, 423 minutes, 4 goals, 15 shots, 7 SOG

Benny Feilhaber (New England Revolution; Years played at UCLA: 2003-04)
Benny Feilhaber returned to the pitch after missing three games with a leg injury, and came off the bench as a substitute in New England's 2-1 loss to DC United. Feilhaber came on in the 55th minute for Lee Nguyen and played 35 minutes without recording an offensive statistic.
Revolution record: 2-4, 6 points, 5th place in Eastern Conference

Feilhaber's 2012 MLS season stats: 3GP/2GS, 186 minutes, 4 shots, 1 SOG

Kevin Hartman (FC Dallas; Years played at UCLA: 1995-96)
Hartman made four saves to earn his third win of the season as FC Dallas defeated the Montreal Impact 2-1 on Saturday. Hartman faced 10 total shots on the night and gave up Montreal's only goal of the match on a penalty kick in the 61st minute. He currently is tied for first in all of MLS with 23 saves on the season and has one shutout thus far.

Hartman's 2012 MLS season stats: 6GP/6GS, 540 minutes, 23 saves, 9 GA, 1.50 GAA

Kamani Hill (Colorado Rapids; Years played at UCLA: 2004-05)
Hill came on as a substitute for the third straight week and played 21 minutes in Colorado's 1-0 loss to Seattle on Saturday. Hill replaced Jaime Castrillon in the 69th minute and did not record an offensive statistic.
Rapids record: 3-3, 9 points, 6th place in Western Conference

Hill's 2012 MLS season stats: 3GP/0GS, 43 minutes, 1 goal, 3 shots, 2 SOG

Patrick Ianni (Seattle Sounders FC; Years played at UCLA: 2003-05)
Patrick Ianni once again started and played all 90 minutes at center back for Seattle in their 1-0 home win over the Rapids. Ianni and the rest of the Seattle defense were tremendous on Saturday, holding Colorado to just four total shots and only one on target. Ianni has played every single minute for the Sounders this season and has led Seattle to three shutouts in their first five games.

Ianni's 2012 MLS season stats: 5GP/5GS, 450 minutes

Chance Myers (Sporting Kansas City; Years played at UCLA: 2006-07)
Myers started and played all 90 minutes once again at right back as Sporting Kansas City remained undefeated with a 1-0 home over Real Salt Lake. The former No. 1 overall draft pick has had a stellar season so far, being a rock on the right side in defense while also pushing the tempo and creating chances on the offensive side of the ball. Myers has played every minute for Kansas City so far this season and has helped lead them to a league-best 6-0 record, their best start in the club's 17-year history.
Sporting Kansas City record: 6-0, 18 points, 1st place in Eastern Conference
This week's Sporting Kansas City schedule: Apr. 18 - at Vancouver Whitecaps
Myers's 2012 MLS season stats: 6GP/6GS, 540 minutes, 1 assist, 4 shots, 1 SOG

Amobi Okugo (Philadelphia Union; Years played at UCLA: 2009)
Okugo saw his first action for the Union this season as he came on as a substitute and played 19 minutes in Philadelphia's 1-0 win over Columbus. He came on in the 71st minute for Gabriel Gómez and did not record a statistic in his 19 minutes of play.
Union record: 1-3-1, 3 points, 8th place in Eastern Conference
This week's Union schedule: Apr. 21 - at Chivas USA
Okugo's 2012 MLS season stats: 1GP/0GS, 19 minutes

Matt Reis (New England Revolution; Years played at UCLA: 1994-97)
Matt Reis recorded four saves and gave up two goals in the Revolution's 2-1 loss to DC United on Saturday. Reis did make a few great stops to keep the Revolution in the game to run his total save count to 17 on the year before giving up a goal in 82nd minute.
Revolution record: 2-4, 6 points, 5th place in Eastern Conference

Reis's 2012 MLS season stats: 6GP/6GS, 540 minutes, 17 saves, 8 GA, 1.33 GAA

Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake; Years played at UCLA: 1997-99)
Rimando made two saves while allowing one goal in Real Salt Lake's 1-0 loss to Sporting Kansas City on Saturday. After allowing the goal, Rimando made an incredible save on Kansas City forward Kei Kamara after Kamara headed a corner that looked to be a surefire goal before Rimando made an amazing one-handed diving save to keep the deficit at one. Rimando has made 20 saves on the year and has a scant 0.67 GAA thus far.
Real Salt Lake record: 5-2, 15 points, 1st place in Western Conference
This week's Real Salt Lake schedule: Apr. 21 - at San Jose Earthquakes
Rimando's 2012 MLS season stats: 7GP/7GS, 630 minutes, 20 saves, 5 GA, 0.71 GAA

Kelyn Rowe (New England Revolution; Years played at UCLA: 2010-11)
Rowe started and played all 90 minutes at central midfield for New England in their 2-1 loss to DC United on Saturday. He recorded five shots in the match, one on goal, as he continued to get major playing time in his rookie season. Rowe has started all six of the Revolution's games so far and has one goal on the year.
Revolution record: 2-4, 6 points, 5th place in Eastern Conference
This week's Revolution schedule: Bye; Next Match is Apr. 28 - at New York Red Bulls
Rowe's 2012 MLS season stats: 6GP/6GS, 495 minutes, 1 goal, 13 shots, 9 SOG

Marvell Wynne (Colorado Rapids; Years played at UCLA: 2004-05)
Wynne once again started and played all 90 minutes at center back in Colorado's 1-0 loss to Seattle. Wynne did not record a statistic in his 90 minutes of play, but has started and played in every single minute off all six of Colorado's matches this year. He has also helped the Rapids to two shutouts in their first six contests.
Rapids record: 3-3, 9 points, 6th place in Western Conference
