Bruin Doubles Duo Falls in NCAA Semifinals

May 30, 2010

Athens, Ga. - UCLA's Andrea Remynse and Yasmin Schnack concluded their doubles run at the NCAA Tennis Championships on Sunday, as the the duo was beaten in the semifinals at Georgia's Dan Magill Tennis Complex.

Second-seeded Hilary Barte and Lindsay Burdette of Stanford earned a spot in tomorrow's final by beating the fourth-seeded UCLA tandem, 6-0, 6-1. Strangely enough, Remynse and Schnack had just beaten Barte and Burdette 6-1, 6-0 in the final of the Pac-10 Championships in late April.

With the loss, Remynse and Schnack end the season with a 40-8 overall record.
