Senior Glory Yang, junior Stephanie Kono, and sophomores Lee Lopez and Tiffany Lua have all earned All-American honors as announced by the National Golf Coaches Association. Kono received first team accolades while Lua and Lopez were named to the second team. Yang received honorable mention.

This is the third straight year that Kono has landed on the first team All-American list. This year, Kono led the Bruins in scoring average (72.8), top-10 finishes (6), rounds under par (15) and rounds under 70 (5). She also tied for first at the NCAA Central Regional, earning her fourth career tournament victory.

Meanwhile, this is Lua's second appearance on the All-America team as she earned second team honors as a freshman last season. Lua was the top finisher at the NCAA Championship for the Bruins and earned her first career tournament victory at the Landfall Tradition back in October. Tiffany was first on the team with five top-5 finishes and was second on the team in scoring average with a 73.0.

Sophomore Lee Lopez recorded three top 10 finishes on the year including a win at the Bruin Wave Invitational back in March. This is her first appearance on the All-American team. Finally, in her final season as a Bruin, Glory Yang recorded six top 20 finishes in 11 tournaments and secured runner-up honors at the Bruin Wave Invitational behind Lopez. She previously earned second-team All-America honors in 2008 and 2009 to go with her honorable mention this year.

In addition to her All-American accolades, Stephanie Kono was named to the NGCA All-Central Regional team. As mentioned above, she tied for first at the tournament with scores of 74-76-68--218 (+2). Freshman Ani Gulugian was also named to the NGCA All-Central Regional team after she tied for eighth at the tournament.

Under the guidance of Head Coach Carrie Forsyth, 15 UCLA players have earned 24 All-America honors, including 12 first-team selections. All five golfers mentioned above also competed in the NCAA Championship last week and were instrumental in bringing home UCLA's third NCAA title in women's golf.
