UCLA Baseball Game Suspended at Cal State Northridge Due to Darkness

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - Tuesday afternoon's baseball game between UCLA and Cal State Northridge has been suspended in the middle of the eighth inning due to darkness. No. 3 UCLA led host Cal State Northridge, 22-2, in the middle of the eighth inning after sunset at Matador Field.

Tuesday's game will be resumed on April 15, prior to the previously scheduled contest between Cal State Northridge and UCLA. Time of the resumed game is to be determined. Game two is slated for 6 p.m. that evening.

The Bruins (1-1) return to action Wednesday evening at Jackie Robinson Stadium, where they will face UC Santa Barbara (3-0). UCLA freshman left-hander Rob Rasmussen will make his collegiate debut as the starting pitcher and will face UC Santa Barbara senior right-hander Michael Martin. Game time is slated for 6 p.m.
