The Bruins fall to 33-15 overall and 9-9 in Pac-12 play, while the Golden Bears improve to 45-3 and 16-2 in league action.
Schroeder and freshman Stephany LaRosa each had two hits, accounting for four of the five for the Bruins.
The Bruins got on the board first with a pair of runs in their initial at-bat. Schroeder led off with a single to center, moved to second on a sacrifice by LaRosa and scored on a first-pitch homer to left by Harrison, her 14th of the season, to make it 2-0.
Cal countered with three runs in its half of the first, loading the bases on infield singles by Jamia Reid and Ashley Decker and a walk to Valerie Arioto. On the walk to Arioto, the Bruins were slow getting the ball back in the circle, as Reid rounded third and came in to score to make it 2-1. One out later, and after a walk to Breana Kostreba reloaded the bases, Cheyenne Cordes singled to left to plate Decker and Arioto to give Cal a 3-2 lead.
The Golden Bears tacked on four more in the second. A walk to Frani Echavarria, a single for Reid and a walk to Decker loaded the bases, with a free pass to Arioto bringing home Cal's fourth run. Jace Williams followed with a single up the middle to plate Reid and Decker to increase the advantage to 6-2, as Arioto advanced to third on the throw and came home on the next batter on a wild pitch to make it 7-2.
UCLA hit another home run in the third. With one out, Schroeder belted her fifth jack of the season to left to make it 7-3.
Cal answered the run in its half of the third. With the bases loaded, Williams lifted a sacrifice fly ball to center to score Echavarria to make it 8-3.
The Bears added two more in the sixth. Williams walked to open the inning, and one out later, Cordes doubled to left. One out later, Jolene Henderson singled down the left-field line to plate a pair to make it 10-3.
