Lee Earns Pair of Top 5 Finishes at Pan Am Games

Oct. 27, 2011

UCLA signee Peng Peng Lee completed her competition at the Pan Am Games in Guadalajara, Mexico with a fourth-place all-around and fifth-place uneven bars finish.

In the all-around finals on Wednesday, she scored 54.575 to finish just two-tenths of a point behind the bronze medal winner. Lee posted the meet's second-highest mark on balance beam (13.975) and third-highest score on floor exercise (13.675). She also totaled 14.025 on vault and 12.9 on uneven bars.

During the uneven bars final on Thursday, Lee scored 13.575, coming just .05 shy of a third-place finish.

Lee, who signed a letter-of-intent last fall to attend UCLA, helped the Canadian team capture the silver medal in the team competition earlier this week.
