Senior attacker Ben Hohl (Atherton, CA/Menlo School) of the UCLA men's water polo team was selected as the UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for Oct. 11-17.
Hohl scored a team-best three goals to lead the No. 3 Bruins past No. 4 Stanford, 9-8, in a crucial MPSF contest at Spieker Aquatics Center on Friday evening. Hohl scored the game-winning goal with 50 seconds left, snapping an 8-8 tie, and the Bruins held on for the conference win. Hohl currently leads the Bruins with 25 goals through 14 matches.
This is Hohl's first UCLA/Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week honor of the season and second of his career.
