Feb. 21, 2012
The UCLA swimming and diving team is headed to Federal Way, WA to compete in the first ever Pac-12 Championships, held Feb. 22-25. Swimming events are contested all four days, while diving events run Thurs.-Sat. Last year, the Bruins finished fourth as a team, while Stanford won.
The Bruins head into the meet on an upswing after posting many fast times and school records against USC on Feb. 11. The 200 free relay team and Kathryn Murphy (50 free) both set school, meet and facility records in that meet, while many others swam times that put them in strong contention for a spot at NCAAs.
Below is the schedule of events for all four days. Prelims begin each day at 11:00 am with finals starting at 6:00 pm, except on Wednesday when there will be only finals of the 200 medley relay and 800 free relay.
