LOS ANGELES -
UCLA Head Men's Basketball Coach Ben Howland met with the Los Angeles media this afternoon in his last weekly press conference of the 2010-11 season.
The Bruins, which finished with a 23-11 overall record and a 13-5 mark (second place) in the Pac-10 Conference, lost in the 3rd Round of the NCAA Tournament to No. 2 Florida.
Among the many topics discussed in the press conference, Coach Howland announced that earlier this afternoon, junior guard Malcolm Lee completed a successful surgery to fix some torn cartilage and remove a piece of floating cartilage in his left knee. The surgery was performed by UCLA team doctors at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center.
