What has been your favorite memory during your time at UCLA?
My favorite memory has to be doing a get-out swim of the 100 free long course during winter training, we all made it and promptly made our way to Headlines for a breakfast celebration.
If you could do another sport at UCLA, what would it be?
I would be honored to be a sprinter on the track team.
Do you have a pre-meet ritual? If so, what is it?
Coffee. Hot or iced, I need to drink it.
What is your favorite song playing in your Ipod right now?
These are all equally my favorite: `I'm Ready For You'-Drake, `Feelin Myself'- Nipsey Hussle, `Get Big'- Dorrough, `Come Into My Room'- Mavado.
Who is your hero?
My parents, grandparents, and all my ancestors who struggled and fought to make it.
What's your favorite thing to eat?
Pork and French Fries, so basically Puerto Rican and Chinese food.
What is your favorite thing to do away from the pool?
I love to learn about new things... whether it is music, food, dance, whatever, I'm about being more connected to the cultures around me.
What is something most people don't know about you?
I used to write on a fantasy message board about Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Pirates of the Caribbean and Eragon's my screen name was Elvengurl.

What does it mean to be a Bruin?
To me, a Bruin enacts change. As a Bruin you receive much in terms of knowledge and ability. It is important to remember, to whom much is given, much is expected. A Bruin shares the gift, enacting change within their communities or in those of need.
