Each week, uclabruins.com will update and highlight select UCLA players' progress during the current MLS season. Games highlighted are from Apr. 16-22. The Bruins lead all universities with 23 alumni in MLS.

Chad Barrett (Los Angeles Galaxy; Years played at UCLA: 2003-04)
Chad Barrett came on as a substitute and played 18 minutes in the Galaxy's 2-1 win over Colorado on Saturday. He came on in the 72nd minute for Edson Buddle and did not record an offensive statistic in the match.
Galaxy record: 3-3, 9 points, 6th place in Western Conference

Barrett's 2012 MLS season stats: 6GP/2GS, 212 minutes, 4 shots

Tony Beltran (Real Salt Lake; Years played at UCLA: 2006-07)
Beltran started at right back and played 89 minutes for Real Salt Lake in their 3-1 loss to San Jose. He did not record a statistic in the match. Beltran has started all eight of Real Salt Lake's games this season and has been instrumental in helping the team to a second place standing in the Western Conference.

Beltran's 2012 MLS season stats: 8GP/8GS, 707 minutes, 2 assists, 3 shots, 2 SOG

Jordan Harvey (Vancouver Whitecaps FC; Years played at UCLA: 2002-05)
Jordan Harvey started and played all 90 minutes in both of Vancouver's games this week. On Wednesday, Harvey made his third consecutive start on defense and recorded one shot in the Whitecaps' 3-1 loss to Sporting Kansas City. Then on Saturday, Harvey played all 90 minutes at left back as the Whitecaps shut out FC Dallas at home 1-0. Harvey and the rest of the Whitecaps defense allowed just five shots on goal and shut out their opponent for the fifth time in seven games this year. Harvey has played in all five of those shutouts and started and played all 90 minutes in two of them.
Whitecaps record: 3-2-2, 11 points, 3rd place in Western Conference

Harvey's 2012 MLS season stats: 7GP/4GS, 438 minutes, 1 assist, 2 shots

Kamani Hill (Colorado Rapids; Years played at UCLA: 2004-05)
Hill earned his first start of the season and played 78 minutes in Colorado's 2-1 home loss to the Galaxy on Saturday. Hill recorded one shot in the match before being subbed off for Wells Thompson in the 78th minute. He has played in all four of the Rapids' games since being signed by back in March and has one goal thus far.
Rapids record: 3-4, 9 points, 8th place in Western Conference

Hill's 2012 MLS season stats: 4GP/1GS, 121 minutes, 1 goal, 4 shots, 2 SOG

Chance Myers (Sporting Kansas City; Years played at UCLA: 2006-07)
Myers started and played all 90 minutes in both of Sporting Kansas City's games this week, helping them earn a 3-1 victory over Vancouver on the road before falling to Portland 1-0 in Portland. On Wednesday against the Whitecaps, Myers again played the whole match at right back and recorded his second assist of the year when he set up Kei Kamara for Kansas City's third goal of the match. Myers got the ball on the right hand side and put a beautiful cross in front of the net where Kamara promptly converted the goal. On Saturday against Portland, Myers played the full 90 minutes and recorded two shots as Kansas City lost for the first time this year. Despite the loss, Sporting Kansas City still owns the best record in MLS and Myers has played a big part in leading the team to that standing, playing in every single minute for Kansas City thus far.

Myers's 2012 MLS season stats: 8GP/8GS, 720 minutes, 2 assists, 6 shots, 1 SOG

Amobi Okugo (Philadelphia Union; Years played at UCLA: 2009)
Okugo came on as a substitute for the second straight match and played 19 minutes in Philadelphia's 1-0 road win over Chivas USA. He came on in the 71st minute for Gabriel Gómez and did not record a statistic in his 19 minutes of play.
Union record: 2-3-1, 7 points, 6th place in Eastern Conference
This week's Union schedule: Apr. 28 - at San Jose Earthquakes
Okugo's 2012 MLS season stats: 2GP/0GS, 38 minutes

Nick Rimando (Real Salt Lake; Years played at UCLA: 1997-99)
Nick Rimando made five saves and allowed three goals on 20 shots in Real Salt Lake's 3-1 loss to San Jose on Saturday. Rimando is tied for second in all of MLS with 25 saves on the year and has just a 1.00 GAA thus far while leading Real Salt Lake to a second place standing in the Western Conference.
Real Salt Lake record: 5-3, 15 points, 2nd place in Western Conference
This week's Real Salt Lake schedule: Apr. 25 - at FC Dallas; Apr. 28 - vs. Toronto FC
Rimando's 2012 MLS season stats: 8GP/8GS, 720 minutes, 25 saves, 8 GA, 1.00 GAA

Marvell Wynne (Colorado Rapids; Years played at UCLA: 2004-05)
Wynne earned his seventh straight start and again played all 90 minutes at center back in Colorado's 2-1 loss to the Galaxy. Wynne did not record a statistic in his 90 minutes of play, but has started and played in every single minute off all seven of Colorado's matches this year.
Rapids record: 3-4, 9 points, 8th place in Western Conference
