Each week, uclabruins.com will update and highlight select UCLA players' progress during the current MLS season. Games highlighted are from Oct. 15-21. The Bruins lead all universities with 22 alumni in MLS.

Tony Beltran (Real Salt Lake; Years played at UCLA: 2006-07)
Beltran started and played all 90 minutes in Real Salt Lake's 0-0 draw with Seattle on Wednesday. He recorded one shot on goal in the match and helped Salt Lake earn their 13th shutout of the season. Real Salt Lake has clinched a playoff spot and has one match remaining before the playoffs.

Beltran's 2012 MLS season stats: 31GP/31GS, 2,767 minutes, 2 assists, 11 shots, 4 SOG

David Estrada (Seattle Sounders FC; Years played at UCLA: 2006-09)
Estrada came on as a substitute in both of Seattle's matches this week, playing a combined 15 minutes. On Wednesday against Real Salt Lake, Estrada came on in the 76th minute and played 14 minutes as the Sounders played to a 0-0 draw with Salt Lake. Then on Sunday, Estrada played one minute in Seattle's 3-1 win over FC Dallas. He did not record a statistic in either match. Seattle has clinched a playoff spot and has one match left before the playoffs begin.

Estrada's 2012 MLS season stats: 17GP/12GS, 1,027 minutes, 5 goals, 25 shots, 10 SOG

Kevin Hartman (FC Dallas; Years played at UCLA: 1995-96)
Kevin Hartman made four saves on Sunday as FC Dallas fell to Seattle 3-1. Hartman faced 15 total shots in the match and has now made 95 saves on the year, good for fifth best in all of MLS.
FC Dallas record: 9-13-11, 38 points, 6th place in Western Conference

Jordan Harvey (Vancouver Whitecaps FC; Years played at UCLA: 2002-05)
Harvey started and played all 90 minutes in Vancouver's 1-0 loss to Portland on Sunday. He did not record a statistic in the match. Vancouver has clinched a playoff spot though and has one match remaining before the playoffs begin.

Kamani Hill (Colorado Rapids; Years played at UCLA: 2004-05)
Kamani Hill started and played 66 minutes as Colorado defeated Chivas USA 2-0 on Saturday. Hill scored his fourth goal of the season in the 43rd minute, heading in a great cross from Omar Cummings to the far post to seal the win for the Rapids. To view Hill's goal, click here.

Chance Myers (Sporting Kansas City; Years played at UCLA: 2006-07)
Defender Chance Myers started and played all 90 minutes at right back on Saturday as Sporting Kansas City played to a scoreless tie with New York. Myers recorded one shot in the match and helped Kansas City record their 15th shutout of the year. Sporting Kansas City has clinched a playoff spot and only needs a point in their final match to clinch the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Conference.

Amobi Okugo started and played all 90 minutes at center back in Philadelphia's 3-1 loss to Houston on Saturday. He recorded one shot in the match has now started and played all 90 minutes in Philadelphia's last 21 matches.

Rose recorded one shot in the match and helped the Sounders earn their 11th shutout of the season despite playing with 10 men for most of the match. Then on Sunday, Rose came on as a substitute and played seven minutes in Seattle's 3-1 win over FC Dallas. He did not record a statistic in Sunday's match. Seattle has clinched a playoff spot and has one match left before the playoffs begin.

Kelyn Rowe (New England Revolution; Years played at UCLA: 2010-11)
Rowe started and played all 90 minutes in New England's 1-0 win over Chicago on Saturday. Rowe picked up his fifth assist of the year in the first half, setting up Diego Fagundez for the only goal of the match in the 17th minute. Rowe has made 29 starts for New England so far in what has been an impressive rookie season.

Michael Stephens came on as a substitute and played 11 minutes in the Galaxy's 2-2 draw with San Jose on Sunday. Stephens came on in the 79th minute for Christian Wilhelmsson and did not record a statistic in his 11 minutes of play. The Galaxy have clinched a playoff spot and have one match remaining before the playoffs begin.
