Six future, current and former UCLA women's golfers have qualified for the 2011 U.S. Women's Open at The Broadmoor East Club, July 5-7 in Colorado Springs, CO.

On May 31, junior Stephanie Kono, sophomore Tiffany Lua and incoming freshman Erynne Lee each qualified at the Industry Hills Eisenhower Course. Kono placed second with a score of 143 (+1), Lee finished third at 144 (+2) and Lua shot 147 (+5) to earn a spot as an alternate.

Professionals Jane Park and Ryann O'Toole both qualified at other sites. O'Toole, a 2009 UCLA graduate, won her qualifying rounds in Daly City at the Lake Merced Golf Club with a 36-hole total of 149 (+5) on May 23. Park tied for third at The Oaks Club in Osprey, FL on May 16 with a score of 144 (E).

Finally, LPGA professional Maria Jose Uribe is exempt for the championship because of her standing on the 2010 LPGA official money list.
