The top-ranked UCLA women's tennis team (16-0; 3-0 Pac-12) continues conference play this week, as the Bruins are scheduled to host both Washington and Oregon at the Los Angeles Tennis Center. UCLA begins the weekend against 48th-ranked Washington (6-7; 0-4 Pac-12) on Friday at Noon. UCLA owns an 18-2 all-time record against the Huskies, notching a 6-1 victory last season at the LATC. The Bruins round out the weekend against Oregon (9-5; 0-4) on Saturday at Noon. UCLA, which posted a 6-1 win over the Ducks last year in Eugene, leads that series 15-0. There is no charge for admission to regular season home matches at the LATC. Live stats for this weekend's matches can be accessed by clicking HERE.

UCLA made its first-ever Pac-12 road trips to Colorado and Utah last week, coming away with a pair of victories to improve to 3-0 in conference play. The Bruins downed Colorado, 5-2 in Boulder on Friday and followed that up with a 6-1 victory over Utah on Sunday in Salt Lake City. Friday marked only the second-ever meeting between UCLA and Colorado, while UCLA and Utah had already faced off previously this year, with the Bruins notching a 4-1 win during ITA Kick-Off Weekend in January.

New team and individual rankings were released on Tuesday and, as expected, the Bruins held on to the No. 1 ranking. Florida, Duke, USC and Miami round out the top 5. Stanford, which hosts UCLA on April 14, currently stands at No. 6. Individually, freshman Robin Anderson continues to be the team's highest-ranked singles player, checking in at No. 6. She is followed by: Chanelle Van Nguyen (No. 84), Pamela Montez (No. 87), Courtney Dolehide (No. 97), Kaitlin Ray (No. 103), McCall Jones (No. 105) and Skylar Morton (No. 116). Morton's return to the rankings means that once again UCLA has more singles players ranked than any other school in the country (7). UCLA's two ranked doubles teams are Dolehide and Montez at No. 9, followed by Anderson and Morton at No. 11. Complete rankings can be accessed by clicking HERE.

The fifth-ranked UCLA men (14-2) open up conference play on the road this week, traveling to the Pacific Northwest for matches against Oregon and No. 22 Washington. The Bruins start out the weekend in Eugene, facing Oregon (14-1) on Friday at 1:00 p.m. UCLA owns an 18-0 all-time record against Oregon, downing the Ducks, 7-0 last season at the LATC. The Bruins round out their road trip on Saturday in Seattle, taking on Washington (12-3) at 1:00 p.m. The Bruins lead that series 26-2, beating the Huskies, 5-2 last year in Los Angeles. UCLA is coming off of a 7-0 victory over Loyola Marymount on Tuesday at the Los Angeles Tennis Center. After sweeping doubles play, the Bruins then won all six singles matches in straight sets. Clay Thompson and Maxime Tabatruong didn't surrender a single game in their singles matches, as both players won 6-0, 6-0 at court Nos. 1 and 6, respectively. Tuesday marked the collegiate debut for freshman Dennis Novikov, who teamed with Thompson to earn a win at No. 3 doubles before downing LMU's Nicholas Bjerke in singles 6-3, 6-3 at court No. 2. Novikov and Karue Sell, who arrived at UCLA on Tuesday evening, are two new additions to the team for the spring quarter.

The Bruins remained at No. 5 nationally in the latest ITA rankings released on Tuesday. Undefeated USC is the No. 1 team in the country followed by Ohio State, Georgia and Virginia. Senior Nick Meister is the team's highest-ranked player at No. 30. He is followed by: Adrien Puget (No. 51), Clay Thompson (No. 59) and Marcos Giron (No. 115). Meister and Puget are ranked No. 38 nationally in doubles. Complete rankings can be accessed by clicking HERE.

UCLA has just two more regular-season home matches remaining. The Bruins are scheduled to host No. 8 Stanford on Friday, April 13 and No. 12 Cal on Saturday, April 14. UCLA rounds out the regular season at USC on April 20.
