Day Three Results from LPGA Qualifying School

Senior Stephanie Kono and former UCLA All-America Maria Jose Uribe were still on track to clear the 72-hole cut at the LPGA Qualifying Tournament in Daytona Beach, FL.

Kono posted a three-over par 75 on Friday and was tied for third at 213 (-3) and Uribe also carded a 75 and was tied for 16th at 218 (+2). Former All-America Hannah Jun climbed into a tie for 41st with a third round score of 69 (-3) and had a 54-hole total of 222 (+6), while senior Brianna Do posted a 73 (+1) and was tied for 95th at 228 (+12).

After Saturday's round, the 139-player field will be cut to the low 70 players and ties for the final 18 holes. Players making the cut will compete in the final round on the LPGA Champions Course. The top 40 players and ties following Sunday's round will receive 2012 LPGA membership.
