Two Golfers Named to Pac-10 All-Academic Team

Sophomores Pedro Figueiredo and Bobby Lange have been named to the Pac-10 All-Academic team as announced by the conference on Monday. Figueiredo was named to the first team while Lange received second team honors.

This is the first time that each player has been named to the All-Academic team. Figueiredo registered a 3.65 GPA as an economics major while Lange scored a 3.59 GPA as an economics major as well.

The Pac-10 states that to be eligible for selection to the All-Academic team, a student-athlete must have a minimum 3.0 overall grade-point average and be either a starter or significant contributor.

UCLA closed its 2011 season with four tournament victories and tied for 5th place at the NCAA Championship.
